Delivery & Returns Policies
We offer a selection of domestic delivery methods, so you can select the delivery method that most suits your needs. We currently only deliver to the UK.
We will do our utmost to dispatch orders the same-day if received before 2pm Monday-Friday (excl. Bank Holidays), and all other such orders will be dispatched the next working day (Monday-Friday, excl. Bank Holidays).
Please note that our office is closed on Bank Holidays and that Royal Mail and DPD will not collect from us or deliver on Bank Holidays.
Standard Delivery – £3.99 – 3-4 working days ( Tracked )
First Class Delivery – £5.99 – 1-2 working days ( Tracked )
Next day Delivery* – £10.99
*Next day delivery orders will be dispatched the same-day if received before 2pm Monday-Friday (excl. Bank Holidays). After 2pm, orders will be dispatched the next working day.
Prices may vary depending on size, quantities and delivery method chosen. All prices are subject to change and delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.
We also offer free delivery options for orders over certain thresholds:
Orders Over £40 – Free Standard delivery
Orders over £70 – Free First class delivery
Please note that if your order has not arrived within these times, your order may still be in transit. deliveries cannot be reported as lost with the delivery company until 10 working days have elapsed.
Please be aware that we only deliver to UK based addresses. Order can not be split up and sent to different locations.
Subject to the right of consumers to return goods for refund under The Sale of Goods Act and Distance Selling Regulation, Moonraker Hobbies does not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly advised to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your delivery, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
As part of our returns policy we accept returns for security sealed products, please note that these items will be inspected and if not returned sealed and in “new condition” we reserve the right to reject the refund or offer a partial refund depending on the condition of the item returned to us, therefore are highly unlikely to issue refunds for the security sealed products unless proven to be faulty through a manufacturing defect.

Products not returned in New condition may not be refunded and or refunded to an amount that is 50% of the sale value. This does not apply to items being returned due to manufacturing faults or items received by the customer already damaged. If you exercise your right to cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Moonraker Hobbies at your own risk and cost, therefore, we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
You have the right to cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 14 days following the day you receive the goods by:
- E-mailing us your name, a description of the goods or services concerned and the order number of the cancelled order. ( [email protected] )
- Phoning us on 01225 776290 (Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm excluding public holidays) please have your order reference number and delivery details to hand.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]
If an order needs to be cancelled or amended at very short notice, we recommend calling to ensure that your order is not packed and/or dispatched before changes can be made. Please note that alterations may result in a delay in dispatching your order.
